We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the law does not require one for a business of our size and activity. Tom White, Director, is responsible for data protection.
2. The data we collect
We collect only what you give us through the enquiry form and limited technical data from analytics cookies.
Enquiry form: Name, email address, company name, phone number (if given), and the content of your message
Follow-up correspondence: Anything you choose to share with us by email or call after your enquiry, such as details of a fundraising, business or investment interest

We do not knowingly collect special category data (such as health or ethnic origin). Please do not include it in your message. The site is not aimed at anyone under 18.
3. Business contacts we reach out to
We sometimes contact founders, executives and investment professionals before they have contacted us, where their work fits our focus on Edge AI, Physical AI and technology businesses raising capital.
Data we hold: Name, job title, company, business email address, business phone number, LinkedIn profile, and publicly reported information about your company, such as funding rounds and grants
Where it comes from: Your company website, press releases and news coverage, Companies House, LinkedIn, and business contact data providers such as ZoomInfo
Why we use it: To introduce FourPointZero and ask whether a conversation about fundraising or investment would be useful to you
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests in contacting businesses about services relevant to the recipient's role
How long we keep it: Deleted within 2 years of last contact if you do not reply; if you opt out, we keep only your email address on a suppression list so we never contact you again
We only email business addresses at companies, never personal addresses. Every email we send includes a way to opt out and a link to this policy. You can object at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing tom@fpz.consulting, and we will stop straight away.
4. How we use your data and our lawful basis
We use your data to respond to you and to understand how the site is used. We never sell it.
Responding to your enquiry and arranging a call: Legitimate interests (replying to people who contact us), or steps before entering a contract at your request
Assessing whether we can help with a capital raise, introduction or investment opportunity: Steps before entering a contract; legitimate interests
Keeping records of our correspondence: Legitimate interests; legal obligation where records must be kept
Measuring site traffic and improving the site: Consent, given through the cookie banner

Meeting legal, regulatory and tax obligations, and defending legal claims: Legal obligation; legitimate interests
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced our interests against your rights. You can ask us for details of that assessment.
5. Cookies and analytics
We set analytics cookies only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Essential cookies that keep the site working and secure are set without consent, as the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) allow.
Strictly necessary cookies (Squarespace): Site security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choice. Consent needed: No
Analytics cookies (Squarespace Analytics): Counting visits and seeing which pages are used. Consent needed: Yes
You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the site footer, or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working. A full list of Squarespace cookies is in Squarespace's cookie policy.
